Love of a poet, love of music
One of today's most sought-after sopranos finally makes her debut at LIFE Victoria, in this recital postponed from the previous season, and she does so together with the pianist Romain Louveau, who already made his debut at the Festival as a young artist of the Academy of the Abbey of Royaumont (Paris) a long time ago in 2019.
Together they perform Schumann's Poet's Love, one of the emblematic cycles of the composer, who wrote it in 1840, his most prolific year and the year in which he also married Clara Wieck. Here it is performed precisely in soprano voice in a more original proposal than the frequent male voice.
