Scope of implementation
These terms and conditions regulate access to the contents and to all services and products included in My Opera Player (hereinafter, MOP) through its Website. However, the Foundation reserves the right to modify the Website’s presentation, configuration and contents, as well as the conditions required for their access and/or use. Nevertheless, accessing and using the contents and services after any such amendments or changes are
implemented, entails acceptance thereof. Without prejudice to the above, access to certain contents and the use of certain services may be subject to certain particular conditions which, given the case, may substitute, complement and/or amend these terms and conditions. If contradiction exists, particular terms and conditions shall prevail over the general terms and conditions.
Registration as a user is required prior to acquiring any right to access, services or plans offered by MOP. To this end, the user will provide their personal information, as requested, and will accept the legal conditions. A User will be understood to be the person accessing, browsing, using or taking part in the services and activities, free-of-charge or paid, developed by the Website.
Plans and conditions of My Opera Player
Through the MOP platform, users may purchase the following, prior registration and payment of the corresponding economic fees:
a) Access to one of the contents included within the MOP platform for 72 hours from the moment of purchase. This access only allows the viewing of contents, never the downloading thereof. Access will be interrupted 72 hours after the moment of purchase. There will be no automatic renewal of the service.
b) Access to MOP to view a given live broadcast. Any such access will terminate once the live broadcast has concluded. There will be no automatic renewal of the service.
c) Access for a 6-month or 12-month period, with the following conditions. These two subscriptions will be renewed for the same period (chosen) at the end of the same, unless the subscription is canceled in advance, which will be terminated at the end of the contracted period (6 or 12 months).
Economic conditions
All the rights to access and services provided by the Website will show the end price of the product in Euros, tax included. The prices shown on the Website will apply to the services offered by said platform while they are still published.
Discounts
6-month or 12-month subscriptions may be purchased by means of numerical codes given as a gift or of a complimentary nature. Once the subscription period has ended, MOP will suggest to the user that they subscribe through one of the authorised methods of payment, under the renewal or subscription conditions detailed in previous sections.
Billing and termination
MOP will charge the amount due for 72-hour on-demand content rental, live broadcasting services or the 6-month or 12-month subscription fees to the credit card or debit card provided.
In some cases, the billing date may change; for instance, if the credit card or debit card information provided is configured incorrectly.
All information will be processed according to the data privacy policy published in this Website. In order to use MOP, at least one method of payment will be provided, which will be a credit card or a debit card. If a given amount cannot be charged (for reasons such as the credit card or debit card being past their valid date, no funds being available or any other reason) and the MOP account hasn’t been cancelled, the Foundation may suspend access to the service until the amount due has been charged to another valid credit card or debit card.
In order to carry out an electronic payment, MOP has an e-commerce payment gateway provided by banking and private institutions to this end. Any information provided to the MOP will be duly encrypted to guarantee maximum security and confidentiality, and is stored in a certified secure server.
A 6-month or 12-month subscription may be terminated at any time. Access to the MOP service will be available until the end of the billing period (until the 6 or 12 months are up, whichever is applicable). In no case will payments be reimbursed for any of the plans, no returns will be made or credit given for partial periods up to the 6 or 12 months (depending on the subscription), or for MOP contents that were not viewed. Termination of a 6-month or 12-month subscription will be carried out through the Website and will entail the automatic closing down of the account once the current billing period comes to an end.
The Foundation may modify its subscription plans, 72-hour on-demand rental service modality and live broadcasting services, and the prices thereof, whenever it deems it suitable. Any changes in the aforementioned prices, plans or subscriptions will only be applicable to billing cycles after the date on which communication of any such changes is received, in the case of 6-month or 12-month subscriptions. However, in any case, current fees, as stated in www.myoperaplayer.com, will be applicable at the time of purchasing the corresponding plan or subscription.
