Flamenco en el Generalife
In an early and admirable professional maturity, the still young cantaora Rocío Márquez (Huelva, 1985) never gets tired of returning to the most traditional flamenco, a framework that in fact she has already gone far beyond, as her collaborations with Fahmi Alqhai, Jorge Drexler, Rosa Torres Pardo, José Manuel Zapata and Christina Rosenvinge demonstrate. Rocío Márquez will come to the Patio de la Acequia one night at the end of June with one of her most regular accompanists, the guitarist Miguel Ángel Cortés, for a classical recital. A concert of jondo essences: the voice of one of the most sought-after cantaoras by programmers and audiences throughout the flamenco universe and the prestigious guitar of Cortés in his homeland.
