After his first encore at the Teatro Real in 2014 in Donizetti's La fille du régiment, Javier Camarena achieved a second in Lucia di Lammermoor in 2018. And in 2019, his Nemorino in L'elisir d'amore made him the singer with the most encores in the history of the Real. The Mexican tenor returns to the Real with a splendid programme of opera and zarzuela, as well as melodies from his native Mexico.
