Two of the most important Spanish singers of recent decades, the Granada soprano María José Moreno and the Malaga baritone Carlos Álvarez, both with very important careers in theatres halfway around the world, joined forces with the Malaga Philharmonic, conducted by its principal conductor, José María Moreno, for a lyric gala divided into two distinct parts: the first will review two of the great titles of the trilogy that Mozart wrote with librettos by Lorenzo Da Ponte (The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni) and two of the most delightful comedies of the entire 19th century (Don Pasquale and La fille du régiment, both by Donizetti); the second will be an approach to many of the most brilliant moments of the Spanish theatrical-musical genre par excellence, the zarzuela.
