In her debut at the Festival, the Guatemalan soprano trained in Paris, Adriana González, and the pianist and orchestra conductor, Iñaki Encina Oyón, present a programme based on the composer Isaac Albéniz, through the different languages with which this composer from Camprodón approached the world of song. In the first part, they will approach Spanish with Albéniz's Rimas de Bécquer on the poems of this romantic composer, in dialogue with the Canciones clásicas españolas by Ferran Obradors, and then move on to Italian, performing the Baladas en contraposición with Opus 12 by Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari. In the second part, both explore the French side of Albéniz, here in dialogue with the compositions of the married couple Robert Dussaut and Hélène Covatti, composers that this duet has brought out of oblivion, dedicating one of their discs to him. Finally, Granados completes this programme with Spanish songs. González makes her recital debut in Barcelona, after her splendid debut in the role of Mimí at the Liceo.
